CRG and Shapack Partners have secured financing for Chapter Ann Arbor, a 19-story student housing project located close to the University of Michigan. This development will provide 183 units with 625 beds, addressing the increasing demand for student accommodations in Ann Arbor. The project, set to begin construction in August 2025 and complete by 2027, features modern amenities aimed at enhancing the living experience for students.
CRG and its co-developer Shapack Partners have announced the successful acquisition of a site for a significant 19-story student housing development named Chapter Ann Arbor. The project has also secured full construction financing, paving the way for a much-anticipated addition to the University of Michigan area.
Chapter Ann Arbor is strategically located at 1201-1213 S. University Ave., just a block away from the University of Michigan’s Central Campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The project will feature 183 fully furnished units, providing a total of 625 beds for students looking for modern living accommodations close to campus.
Construction on Chapter Ann Arbor is expected to commence in August 2025. Once completed, the new high-rise student housing complex is projected to welcome residents in time for the 2027-28 academic year.
The development will offer a variety of apartments, including studio to five-bedroom layouts, allowing for flexible living options to accommodate different student needs. Each apartment will come with upscale features such as wood-style flooring, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, as well as smart TVs and in-unit laundry facilities.
