Future Developments

  • Home2 Suites American Canyon (102 rooms)
  • The Elene Napa (50 rooms) scheduled to open in early 2026 along the Napa Valley Vine Trail, featuring a restaurant, cafe, heated pool, and community-focused amenities.

Sonoma County is also in line for new developments, with several hotels under construction, including:

  • Graton Resort in Rohnert Park (200 additional rooms)
  • Appellation Healdsburg (108 rooms)
  • Duchamp Hotel Healdsburg (14 additional rooms)
  • Cotati Hotel (153 rooms)
  • Windsor Town Green/McClelland Hotel (149 rooms)

However, some projects, such as the Cotati Hotel and McClelland Hotel, have faced setbacks due to financing delays, permit issues, and changes in site plans. Factors such as economic uncertainties have created a cautious environment regarding financing for new hotel developments.

Overall, while the revival of hotel openings in California is promising, it comes with both opportunities and challenges that will shape the future of the state’s hospitality industry.
