Architectural rendering of the Blue Marine residential building, designed for luxury and sustainability.
Pro Kapital Grupp has announced the start of construction for the Blue Marine residential building in the prestigious Klīversala Quarter of Riga. This sustainable development will feature 96 luxury apartments, with a focus on modern living and energy efficiency. The building, designed by a reputable architectural team, aims to enhance the urban landscape while providing residents with serene river views and convenient amenities. The project is supported by newly established subsidiaries dedicated to its management and development, ensuring a commitment to quality throughout the construction process.
Pro Kapital Grupp has officially announced the beginning of construction on the Blue Marine residential building, located in the coveted Klīversala Quarter of Riga. This development is part of an extensive project situated within a nearly five-hectare land plot that is recognized in a UNESCO heritage protection area. Its prime location boasts picturesque views along the banks of the Daugava River and the Āgenskalns Bay, making it one of the most attractive residential areas in the city.
The Blue Marine building will consist of seven stories and will feature 96 residential apartments, with layouts varying from one to five rooms. The design concept embodies a sense of quiet luxury and modern architecture, aimed at providing residents with a refined and sustainable living experience. The architectural design has been crafted by Aivars Kagainis of the Project Office Grietēns and Kagainis, noted for their focus on creating modern and functional living spaces.
Blue Marine is designed to offer energy-efficient solutions and a timeless design, ensuring a comfortable lifestyle for its inhabitants. Complementing the residential units, the development will include an underground parking facility to enhance convenience and accessibility. In addition, a beautifully landscaped courtyard will be integrated into the design to promote outdoor relaxation and community engagement.
As part of this significant project, Pro Kapital Grupp has taken steps to streamline its operations by establishing two new subsidiaries. On June 2025, the company created SIA Pro Kapital Latvia Engineering, which has a share capital of EUR 5,000 and will oversee the construction project management within Latvia. The second subsidiary, SIA BM Klīversala, has been specifically formed for the Blue Marine project, with a share capital of EUR 2,600,000.
The management board for both subsidiaries features experienced professionals, including the CEO of Pro Kapital Grupp and a board member from Pro Kapital Latvia, providing sound leadership for the development of Blue Marine. It’s noteworthy that the formation of these subsidiaries is not expected to have a significant impact on the overall economic activities of Pro Kapital Grupp, indicating a stable management strategy amidst expansion.
Investors and interested parties can look forward to additional updates on the project’s progress, which will be communicated through the Stock Exchange system. This lookout for updates underscores the company’s commitment to transparency and stakeholder engagement as the Blue Marine residential building begins to take shape.
Overall, the start of the Blue Marine project marks a significant milestone for Pro Kapital Grupp and contributes to the ongoing development of the Klīversala Quarter. With a vision to create high-quality living spaces that prioritize sustainability and modern living, Pro Kapital Grupp is set to enhance not only the skyline of Riga but also the lifestyle of its residents.
